A group of major retailers in the United States on Wednesday announced a new mobile commerce platform, Merchant Customer Exchange (MCX). Members include 7-Eleven, Best Buy, Lowe’s, Sears Holdings, Target, Walmart, Shell Oil and Sunoco.
