CashStar, a digital gifting company, has announced that in the first half of 2013, it added more than a dozen global retailers and restaurants to its B2C and B2B digital gifting platform, including Dunkin’ Donuts. The company has also expanded its eGifting programs into new international markets.
“Consumer demand and advances in technology, particularly related to mobile, have propelled digital gifting from a nice-to-have to a need-to-have offering for today’s global brands. More than ever, major brands around the world continue to rely on us for eGifting and the strategic advantage that our platform enables when eGifts are used to drive customer acquisition, engagement, loyalty and, increasingly, adoption of mobile payments,” said Steven Boal, CEO of CashStar.
CashStar now powers the digital gifting programs for nearly 300 brands, including Dunkin’ Donuts, as well as other 2013 additions such as Brookstone, Pier 1, lululemon athletica and Golfsmith.
