Holiday season is almost here and it is also the season of getting gifts. The trend of gift giving has also changed. Before the digital age people used to give various gifts of their choice and gift recipients either loved them or hated them (mostly secretly). But now in this digital age people give company gift cards, by using them people can buy the stuff of their choice from the company. It’s hassle and disappointment free. So most of the companies released their own gift cards and so did Uber.
Uber not only released a gift card but a digital gift card which you can buy for your friends, family, and anyone else who paid for your fare in the past. After purchasing the gift card you can also send them online. In September Uber started selling physical gift cards but now you can buy them with a few clicks.
If you have used websites that use CashStar then the whole process will hopefully seem very familiar to you. It will be like Sephora gift cards. You can write a personalized note, select the design and amount you want to give. UBER says “your recipients can use what they get to pay for either a ride or an UberEATS purchase if the latter’s available where they live.”
